Medieval Faire invaded Roseburg!

The sounds of weapons clashing and warriors battling, while the crowds cheered, filled the air at the Melrose Vineyards Ren Faire in Roseburg, Oregon.

From the start of the day, common folk, royalty, warriors, and shopkeepers made their rounds throughout the grounds. For these two days, folks from all backgrounds came together to enjoy the old-time experience of a good ren faire.

The booths, flags, and banners lined the field as streams of fairgoers mingled and traveled from the Savagelands battleground to the aerial act and the king's tent. As far as you could see, costumes and cloaks flowed like it was the busy streets of a rustic medieval village. Fine wares and food were bought and consumed as the days chugged on and the faint sounds of weapons faded as the sunset sank.

By the end, we saw a chicken knighted, a mermaid in a cart, and more huzzahs than we could count.
